The Daniel Plan

The Daniel Plan is not just another “diet.” It is a lifestyle based on the biblical story of Daniel, who forsook the king’s rich food in order to honor God’s best for him and his friends. The Daniel Plan focuses on “The Simple Six” Core Principles, including the following:

When did you meet Jesus?
We both met Jesus when we were baptized at ACC about nine years ago.

What’s unique about you?
We are a couple who loves great food, family and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Like any other couple, we struggle with balancing healthy eating without sacrificing flavor in the foods we love.

Why should a member attend your group?
Many of us make New Year’s resolutions to get healthy, lose weight, change our habits, etc. However, most of us know it’s easier said than done. To accomplish a new healthy lifestyle, you will need to rely on God’s power to take bold steps to improve your life. Don’t try to change all by yourself; with God and one or more friends, you can do it!
